The service person showed up promptly, called while he was on his way there. He was informative and got the job done fluently. The only concern I have was the cost of the part. I was charged 700$ for a blower motor. A quick amazon search shows a similar (not the same) for 150-300$. I proceeded with the 700$ motor with my eyes wide open (no one pressured me) because we needed the fix done today. I understand there could be difference between the 700$ and a 300$ motor, hence i won't jump to "i was overcharged' but just leave it as an observation. They were so kind and personable through the whole service. They were upfront about prices and kept me updated the whole time about anything that might increase the price. When I called to schedule Sam (i think that was her name) in the service department was so kind and helpful compared to the other services I called for quotes. Husband is completely satisfied with their commitment to customer satisfaction. The sealant issue has been remedied and the unit looks almost as good as it did when installed, which is a VAST improvement. Thank you A-1. I called A-1 and spoke to a lovely person, Carleen, who promised to have someone call me in the morning. (I did want to pay to have an after-hours call-out.) Sure enough, early this morning Kerri, another nice person from A-1, called and promised a technician would come between 9-noon. Aleks arrived at 10 and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem.
